Meet Dr. Michael L. DiPaula!

About Dr. DiPaula's Education:

Dr. DiPaula was born and raised in Maryland. Graduated from Mount Saint Joseph's High School in 1963, did his undergraduate at the University of Maryland, College Park. He graduated from the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry in an accelerated program in 1970.

He served active duty in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant in the Naval Dental Corps for
2 years. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton Marine Base in California for one year.
He was later trained in general anesthesia at Newport Naval Hospital and completed his active duty tour with the Seabees at Davisville, Rhode Island. He completed his tour with the Seabees at Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territories as the Clinical Director, Hospital Anesthetist and Diving Officer in charge of an Underwater Construction Scuba Team. After completing his active duty tour, he continued in the Naval Reserve.

Dr. DiPaula started his private practice in November 1972 at his present location at 8509 Harford Rd in Parkville, Maryland. He worked as an associate with Dr. James Liszewski until 1987 when he took over the practice in 1987 when Dr. Liszewski retired.

Personal:

Dr. DiPaula was married in 1976 to Nancy, and they have two children Anthony (Loyola HS/ Univ. of Delaware Graduate '03) and Lisa (Notre Dame Prep/ Pratt institute Graduate '03)

Dr. DiPaula enjoys nature and the outdoors. Especially. …Farming, horse and motorcycle riding, music, archery, skiing, and still has a passion for sailing and scuba diving. Besides his Dentistry and farm duties at Fox Folly Farm, he lectures and writes about Natural Energy, Health and Wellness. He has a firm understanding of how the body works in harmony with nature and energy and he relates this in his practice.

Dr. DiPaula takes great pride in the fact that his patients are his greatest referral source. He views the patients' health holistically and understands oral health and its relationship to the total health and wellness of the body.

Dr. DiPaula knows that your smile is your "window to the world", and enhancing and maintaining your smile is the greatest measure of his skill and success.

He enjoys practicing the Art of Dentistry and interacting with his patients.

About Nancy DiPaula

Loving wife of Dr. DiPaula. She does the office managerial duties, clerical supplies and fills in at chairside assisting when needed. Nancy may help you with and appointment or problem, but she is usually behind the scenes keeping the supplies ordered and the bills paid. She is the wind behind the sails. Since she is in the office only random times, you may not see her as frequently.
